Travelers on a budget will find quite affordable properties here, especially those that are further from the beach.
Puerto Vallarta's main highway, Francisco Medina Ascencio, crosses this quarter. Visitors who stay in this neighborhood will be happy to discover that taxis are everywhere. Parking is extremely limited at Marina Vallarta. Only those with housing in the neighborhood should expect to find parking. It's probably best to visit it on foot from the center or take a taxi from the hotel zone or downtown. Once here, it's easy to get around on foot.
